The ADENEAS project held its First Public Workshop on the 16th of February 2022 by teleconference. This interactive event enabled the ADENEAS partners to share information about the project and its first results and to get feedback from the community in terms of technical and exploitability aspects. The objectives were achieved!
The ADENEAS partner TU/e gave a presentation on ADENEAS during the 42nd WIC Symposium on Information Theory and Signal Processing in the Benelux on 1-2 June 2022. The presentation was entitled: “Reliability of wireless intra-aircraft networks: A comparative analysis of IEEE 802.15.4 protocols”.
ADENEAS partners are participating in standardisation committees relevant to the project: EUROCAE Working Group (WG) 96 (Requirements for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)) as well as RTCA-SC236 (Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) for wireless communication). This is the opportunity to align ADENEAS development with requirements under construction in an early stage and foster innovation and collaboration in Europe by creating standardised approach to joint aircraft design.
The ADENEAS project held its kick-off meeting on 1 February 2021 by teleconference. This meeting officially launched the project, reviewed the objectives and structure of the project and aligned the expectations of the nine partners: UTRCI, NLR, Evektor, plc-tec, TU/e, Synano, ADSE, ECMS and GKN – Fokker Elmo (Coordinator), supported by ARTTIC. The project is now in a very satisfactory way towards the objectives and results targeted.
